    Williamsburg - Mr. Charles A. "Chuck" Crump, 28, of 102 Hickory Hills Dr., died Tuesday at Norfolk General Hospital from injuries sustained in an auto accident.
     A lifelong Williamsburg resident, he was employed by J & L Association as a warehouseman for the past eight years. He was a member of Mount Ararat Baptist Church of Williamsburg.
     In 1978 he graduated from Bruton High School and attended Norfolk State University. He also played basketball for the Williamsburg city leagues.
     Survivors include a daughter, Taneil Crump of Williamsburg; his father, Harold Crump of Williamsburg; a sister, Miss Tamara Crump of Williamsburg; two brothers, Angelo Crump of Washington, Keith Crump of Williamsburg; and paternal grandparents, Mr. Charles and Mrs. Della Crump of Williamsburg.

WILLIAMSBURG - David Page Dye, 38, died Friday, Aug. 1, 1997, in his sleep. He was a native of Williamsburg. He was a graduate of Bruton High School and Morven Park in Leesburg.
He was head coach of the Intercollegiate Riding Team for the College of William and Mary and an active leader for the Cedar Valley 4-H Club for a number of years.
He is survived by his parents, Page Roger and Betty Holland Dye, Mr. and Mrs. Stuart Taylor, Maj. Stuart Taylor, James Taylor, Mrs. John Dye and Janet Erkin.
Memorials may be made to the Peninsula AIDS Foundation or to the SPCA.

LANEXA - William "Bill" Stanley Klink, 37, died Sunday, Feb. 1, 1998, in Williamsburg. He was a member of St. Olaf Catholic Church in Norge.
He will be deeply missed by his wife, Amy; sons, Zachary and Ryan; his mother, Marynell Klink of New Kent; a sister, Linda Klink of Toano; two brothers, Stephen Klink of New Kent and John Klink of Leonardtown, Md.; and his paternal grandmother, Beatrice Klink of Pawtucket, R.I.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.

Sue Andrews Parkin

WILLIAMSBURG - Sue Andrews Parkin, 47, lifelong resident of Williamsburg passed away Nov. 15, 2007, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She touched many lives with her courage and faith.
Sue was born in Bell Hospital on Aug. 23, 1960.
She was a 1978 graduate of Bruton High School in York County where she was a member of the Field Hockey team, Keyettes and Student Council. Sue was married to Kenneth Giles Parkin on April 25, 1981, and they later became the parents of three children.
Sue was a stay at home mother, which allowed her to be active in the Christian Women's Club, her church, Williamsburg Community Chapel in which she and her family attended for 20 years, Williamsburg Christian Academy and Lafayette High School. She was a part-time school group tour guide at Jamestown until becoming ill with cancer.
Sue is survived by her husband of 26 years, Ken; one son, Daniel Wilson Parkin; two daughters, Kaitlin Giles Parkin and Emily Sara Parkin, all of Williamsburg; one brother, Grady (Andy) Andrews and his wife, Jeannette of Chester, Va.; two sisters, Renie Andrews of Concord, N.C., and Sara Andrews Shoff and her husband, Steve of Boston, Mass.; her parents, Grady and Brownie Andrews of Williamsburg; her father and mother-in-law, Lester and Evelyn Parkin of Williamsburg; one brother-in-law, Dr. David Parkin and his wife, Eileen of Long Island, N.Y.; one sister-in-law, Patricia-Lynn Spencer and her husband, Thomas, of Richmond, Va.; and six nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Riverside Hospice 12420 Warwick Blvd., Suite 70, Newport News, VA 23603.

ANNAPOLIS, Md. - John V. Fischel, 48, of Annapolis, Md., died suddenly at his residence in Annapolis, Md., on Monday, May 5, 2008.
Mr. Fischel was born in Montreal, Canada, on Feb. 8, 1960, and is the son of Thomas R. Fischel of Williamsburg, Va., and the late Liba Tomek Fischel.
Mr. Fischel graduated from the University of Georgia in 1982. Mr. Fischel was a strategic account manager in the commercial carpet industry. He was a consistent producer in building cohesive and motivated sales teams, penetrating new markets and capturing key accounts with A & D. He loved boating, scuba diving, and cooking. He was known for his great sense of humor.
He is survived by his sister, Debbie Fischel; brother-in-law, Grant Nisson, both of Lothian, Md.; partner, Judi Murphy of Annapolis, Md.; uncles, Jindra and Max Fischel of the Czech Republic; four cousins; stepmother, Patricia S. Fischel; and his beloved companion, Molly.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 9, at Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Cremation and Funeral Care, P.A., 814 Bestgate Road, Annapolis, Md. Interment will be private.

WILLIAMSBSURG - David Allen Guertin 'Buckshot',
lifelong resident of Williamsburg, born July 6, 1960,
passed peacefully from this life to his eternal resting
place on Nov. 20, 2008 surrounded by his beloved
family and friends.
Buckshot never met a stranger that didn't become a
friend. He was a successful self-employed
maintenance contractor who could fix anything. ("If I
can't fix it, it's broke.") Buckshot was also an
accomplished musician, playing drums with various
local popular bands. He was an avid Harley Rider,
beloved by all of his fellow bikers who have set up a
foundation in his name called "Buckshot Sunrise
Foundation".
He is survived by his loving wife, Dalene Guertin; his
son, Cpl. Randall Scott Henry, USMC and his wife,
Lindsey; his parents, Clifton F. and Nancy Guertin; his brother, Clifton "Fuzzy" Guertin; his sisters, Nita Guertin Hutchinson and her husband, Pete, Dawn Guertin Soper and her husband, Wes; his niece, Lindsey Brooke Soper and his nephew, Matthew Logan Soper.
A celebration of Buckshot's life will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 23, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Road, Williamsburg, with Pastor David V. Ford officiating.

TOANO - On Saturday, June 27, 2009, the Lord sent one of His Angels on a special mission. The mission was to bring home for eternal rest our beloved, Delma Justine Brown Street. She slipped into a peaceful sleep in her sister's home. Her life's journey began on May 20, 1958, the daughter of Joyce Brown Tazewell. Her home now is the mansion Christ has prepared for her.
"Del" as she was so affectionately called, was a 1978 graduate of Bruton High School. At an early age, she accepted Christ into her life and joined Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church. At the time of her death, she was employed by the Candle Light Kitchen Restaurant in Norge. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She leaves to cherish her blessed memories her husband, Ronald L. Street; her mother, Joyce B. Tazewell; her sister, Cynthia "Chin" White; her brother, James "Jamie" Johnson; her maternal grandmother, Hazel Brown; her stepsisters, Cynthia Tazewell and Cathy Davis; her stepbrother, Wheeler "Jody" Tazewell; her great-aunt, Margaret Williams; her great-uncle, Owen Harrold; her nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other loving relatives and many caring friends.
A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, July 3, 2009, at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church with the Rev. Morris Randall officiating. Interment will follow in Williamsburg Memorial Park. Family and friends will assemble at 5841 Centerville Road, by noon on Friday. Mrs. Street may be viewed from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
